Dexter Wolf

Dexter is a Sergeant with the Evansville Police Department in Evansville, IN. Evansville is the third largest city in Indiana. Dexter currently serves as the Personnel Unit Commander for the department, and has previous experience as a Patrol Supervisor, Violent and Felony Property Crime Detective, and Field Training Officer. Dexter was a member of the EPD SWAT team for six years and served as an Assistant Team Leader and Specialty Breacher. Dexter also assists the EPD Training Unit and the Southwest Indiana Law Enforcement Academy as an instructor, teaching physical education, nutrition, defensive tactics, and other law enforcement related topics. Dexter is also a member of the EPD Peer Support Team and Crisis Intervention Team.

Dexter has over fifteen years of experience as a strength coach and personal trainer. Prior to pursuing a career in law enforcement, Dexter worked full time as a personal trainer at Tri State Athletic Club in Evansville, IN, where he worked with both the general population and athletes of all ages. Dexter also spent two years as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for the University of Evansville, a Division I Athletics Program. Dexter has helped hundreds of people meet their fitness goals.

Dexter holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Exercise Science from The University of Evansville, is a Certified Law Enforcement Fitness Coordinator from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, and a Certified Primary Instructor from the Indiana Law Enforcement Training Board.
